Wind Gusts Wednesday Evening Could Cause Power Outages
Loose objects outdoors may be knocked over.

The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement for Columbia, Dutchess and Ulster counties for Friday evening. Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possible into this evening.
The NWS said winds have shifted to the northwest behind a cold front, with wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph reported from some observation sites.
These strong winds will continue through the next few hours before decreasing to less than 35 mph.
