Winning Lottery Ticket Sold in Middletown
Only a second-place winner, it's worth $151,864.

The New York Lottery announced Thursday that a second prize winning ticket for the June 8, 2016 Lotto drawing was sold at the Quick Chek on Route 211 East in Middletown.
The ticket is worth $151, 864
In addition to the $151,864 prize for the Lotto drawing, which was won by matching five out of six numbers plus the bonus number, there were a total of 13,543 Lotto winners across all other prize levels.

The winning numbers for the June 8 Lotto drawing were 02-16-22-44-56-59, Bonus Number 18.
The Lottery encourages everyone who bought a New York Lottery draw game ticket, to check their tickets again, as they could be holding a winner. Tickets expire one year after the game’s drawing.

The winners may claim the tickets at any of the Lottery’s Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Lottery’s Fishkill office at 18 Westage Business Center, Hudson Valley Towne Center, Suite 6, Fishkill, NY 12524 or at Empire City Casino at Yonkers Raceway at 810 Yonkers Avenue in Yonkers, NY 10704.

Officials said New York Lottery revenue is distributed to local school districts by the same statutory formula used to distribute other state aid to education. It takes into account both a school district’s size and its income level; larger, lower-income school districts receive proportionately larger shares of Lottery school funding.
