Winter Storm Warning Now In Effect For Parts Of Mid-Hudson Valley
Winds gusting up to 40 mph will cause areas of blowing and drifting snow.

POUGHKEEPSIE, NY — The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for western Columbia, eastern Ulster and western Dutchess counties. The warning is in effect until 1 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5.
Heavy snow and blowing snow are occurring. If traveling, plan on difficult conditions.
Additional snow accumulations of 6 to 9 inches are expected.
