
NEWBURGH, NY — A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service for Orange County.
It is in effect from 6 p.m. Tuesday to 6 a.m. Wednesday.
The forecast calls for snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. For elevations over 1,000 feet, 4 inches can be expected.

The NWS said hazardous conditions are possible after dark, especially on untreated roads, bridges and overpasses. Visibility will be around a half mile at times.
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Caution when driving is urged.
