Winter Weather Advisory For Mid-Hudson Valley
The National Weather Service calls for measurable snow amounts.

MID-HUDSON VALLEY, NY — A winter weather advisory is in effect for parts of the mid-Hudson Valley with 2 to 5 inches of snow possible. The National Weather Service said the advisory is for western Columbia, eastern Ulster and Dutchess counties.
The advisory is in effect until 10 a.m. Saturday.
The weather service said snow is expected. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches are possible. Snowfall rates of around 1 inches per hour are possible.

Slippery road conditions should be expected.
The forecast for Poughkeepsie calls for rain likely before 10 p.m. Friday, then rain and snow between 10 p.m. and midnight. Snow could be heavy at times. Total nighttime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible. The low will be around 32.

For Saturday, the forecast said there will be snow showers before 3 p.m., then a chance of rain. New snow accumulation of around an inch possible.
