Woman Arrested With Almost 2 Pounds Of Pot

Police said she also was allegedly in possession of an opioid.

WAPPINGER, NY — A Poughkeepsie woman was arrested Aug. 10 for allegedly having almost 2 pounds of pot. State Police said Jamila M. Chlih, 22, of Poughkeepsie, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor.

Police said Chlih apprehended after a traffic stop on Route 9 in the Town of Wappinger where she was found to be allegedly in possession of about 1.88 pounds of marijuana and some hydrocodone, an opioid. She was arraigned in the Town of Wappinger Court and sent to the Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond
