Woman Charged With Endangering Welfare Of A Disabled Person
The suspect is employed by a local residential facility for people with developmental disabilities.

RED HOOK, NY — A Saugerties woman was arrested for allegedly punching a person with developmental disabilities. New York State Police said Annette Stramel, 51, of Saugerties, was charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of an incompetent person, a misdemeanor.
An investigation, supported by the state Justice Center, found that Stramel allegedly punched a 21-year-old handicapped woman in the leg.
Stramel is employed by a local residential facility for people with developmental disabilities.

She was issued an appearance ticket for her to appear in the Town of Red Hook Court June 22.
