Woman With Stab Wounds Rescued From Fire In Newburgh
The woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
NEWBURGH, NY — A woman in Newburgh was hospitalized after she was found with multiple stab wounds during an early morning fire Thursday. The woman was trapped on the fire escape in the back of the building at 24 Dubois St. around 12:30 a.m. Thursday.
Police said the woman had several stab wounds to her arms and abdomen, the Times Herald-Record reported.
The woman, whose name was not released, was taken to a nearby hospital where she remains in serious condition.
