Work on Route 17 Eastbound to Close a Lane

A left lane closure is expected on Route 17 eastbound between Exit 130 (Route 208) and Exit 130A (U.S. Route 6) beginning Wednesday, June 15 to Friday, June 17.

Crews will perform highway work permit activity between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone.  In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
