Year-Long Missing Person Case Leads To Murder Charge

The multi-agency investigation led to the discovery of the missing man's body on property where he had been living.

CATSKILL, NY — An arrest was made in the death of a Catskill man whose body was recently found after being missing for a little more than a year. State Police said Carlos Graham, 31, of Catskill, was charged with second-degree murder, a felony, in the death of Brandyn Dayne Foster, 31.

Foster’s body was found Feb. 6 at a home on Tool House Road in Catskill, hudsonvalley360.com said.

He had been reported missing Jan. 30, 2017, to the Town of Woodstock Police Department.

State Police said the year-long, multi-agency investigation resulted in the discovery of Foster’s body buried on the Tool House Road property.

He had been living in a home on the property at the time of his disappearance.

Foster’s death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy.

Graham was found at a private home in Catskill and taken into custody without incident with the assistance of the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

He was arraigned in the Town of Cairo Court and sent to the Greene County Jail without bail pending a future court appearance.

The investigation was conducted by the State Police, FBI, Town of Woodstock Police, Ulster County District Attorney’s Office, Greene County District Attorney’s Office and Ulster County Sheriff’s Office.
