4 Injured In Midtown High-Rise Fire
Four people were injured Wednesday morning in a fire in the basement of a Midtown high-rise, the FDNY said.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Four people were injured in a fire that broke out Wednesday morning in the basement of a Midtown high-rise, an FDNY spokesperson said.
The fire department received a call at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday about a fire in the basement of 62 West 45th St., a 14-story building between 5th and 6th avenues with a Pret a Manger store on the ground floor.
The four people injured were all civilians, the FDNY said. One was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, while three others were treated at the scene but declined to be hospitalized.

About 84 firefighters at the scene managed to bring the fire under control by 10:39 a.m., according to an FDNY dispatch.
