Man Killed By USPS Truck In NYC Hit-And-Run: Police

HELL'S KITCHEN, MANHATTAN — Police are searching for a U.S. Postal Service driver after a 66-year-old man was struck and killed Saturday morning in Hell's Kitchen.

Police said the crash happened shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Ninth Avenue between West 54th and West 55th streets, when the man was crossing mid-block and was struck by a USPS truck, according to ABC 7.

The driver fled the scene, and the victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His identity has not yet been released.
