Targets/Points

The target is represented by a circle with 50cm in diameter; It is divided into 5 zones in the shape of 5 concentric circles with the following diameters (and colors): 10cm (Black), 20cm (white), 30cm (red), 40cm (white), 50cm (red).

Marking: The center point gives 5 points, then 4/3/2/1 for the outer circles.

Target height (from the center point to the ground): 1, 30m to 1, 60m.

Disciplines standards:

3m Knives, 5m knives and 7m knives.

4m axes and axes 7m.

Distances given for these disciplines are minimum distances. It is not possible to be closer to the target, but it is permissible to recoil 2m to the maximum (applies to knives and axes).

There are 21 jets per discipline. For each target, there is a test jet that must be declared before making the jet.

In case of time, time limit or other urgent situations, the Organiser may decide to make only 15 spears instead of 21.

We make the sum of the points for each discipline. As additional information, the fraction of points obtained divided by the number of points that can be obtained to the maximum in this discipline will be given in percent.

Long distance:

Distance for axe throwing varies from club to club.

Same rules for knives and axes.

If a jet counts as planted is decided according to the counting rules.

Counting/unwinding:

After each count, the referee brings the tackle to the launcher.

We count the apparatus exactly as planted in the wood; It's not going to be straightened to get a right angle to the target.

With the knives, to be valid, the tip of the blade must be planted. With the axes, the cutting edge.

With double-edged axes, only the jets that stick down sleeves are valid. If the two edges touch the target, the jet is not valid.

Note: Scoring rules are almost same everywhere.

The best cut area is counted (if in doubt, it is necessary to stretch the apparatus to see the cut).

Distances are measured from the tip of this foot that was closest to the target during the throw. Then it is forbidden to cross the lines marking the minimum distances. In case of transgression, the jet is worthless (0 points).

If more than 5 women participate, there will be a separate ranking for them.

Launchers from all countries can participate. Nationality does not play any role in determining the ranking and the winners. Only for the national championship, the organizers have the option of allowing only participants from their country; In this case it is necessary to communicate the exclusion of foreigners very clearly in all announcements and invitations, even in the country.
