MIDTOWN, MANHATTAN, NY — A 27-year-old Brooklyn man has been charged in the rush-hour shooting of a man who was waiting for his wife outside of Penn Station earlier this week, according to published reports.

Marvin Bruce has been charged in the incident and was taken into custody at his Brownsville, Brooklyn home Thursday morning, The New York Post reported. Bruce faces charges of assaultwith the intent to cause physical harm and other weapons charges, the newspaper reported.

The charges come after a man identified by the Post as Christopher Farrell, 58, was outside the New Jersey Transit terminal at 5:50 p.m. on Monday. Police said earlier this week that the dispute took place after a suspect, now identified as Bruce, got into an argument with another man inside Penn Station after he reportedly approached him and asked for food.
