Such was the Times’ (London) impression of the Jerusalem Quartet. Since the ensemble's founding in 1993 and subsequent 1995 debut, the four Israeli musicians have embarked on a journey of growth and maturation. Their breadth of repertoire and stunning depth of expression have firmly established their unique place in the string quartet tradition. The ensemble has found its core in a warm, full, human sound and an egalitarian balance between high and low voices. This approach allows the quartet to maintain a healthy relationship between individual expression and a transparent and respectful presentation of the composer's work. It is also the drive and motivation for their continuing refinement of its interpretations of the classical repertoire as well as exploration of new epochs.

Seven seriously funny kids from across the tri-state area are taking the stage and they are ready to make your whole family laugh. Welcome this lovely season with Leonard Bernstein's dramatic Chichester Psalms, sung in Hebrew, and Benjamin Britten's lively Rejoice in the Lamb, sung in English. Performed by the Canterbury Choral Society, led by Jonathan De Vries, with full chorus and orchestra and massive percussion. Francis Poulenc's Organ Concerto performed by Alistair Reid rounds out this entertaining program.&nbsp; Soloists are Hannah Spierman, soprano, Bess Morrison, Mezzo-Soprano, Ethan Fran, Tenor, Christoper Tefft, Bass. In partnership with Mayan midwives from Lake Atitlán, Guatemala, and Elemental Guides, we’re opening a 3-part virtual series focused on working with the elements to process emotion, restore balance, and reconnect to the body. Marble Collegiate Church

Joan Lunden, award-winning journalist, bestselling author and longtime host of ABC’s “Good Morning America,” will kick off “Inspired Conversations With…” Marble Collegiate Church’s new series featuring notable thought leaders on Thursday, April 30, 6 p.m. in the historic Sanctuary at 1 W. 29th Street in New York City.
Lunden will share stories from her newest book, Joan: Life Beyond the Script, during a memorable evening to be moderated by Faye Wattleton, longtime Marble member, former president of Planned Parenthood, author, speaker and a leading voice in protecting women’s rights. 
In Lunden’s memoir, she discusses breaking barriers in broadcast journalism, redefining motherhood and courageously sharing her breast cancer journey to advocate for women’s health and caregiving. Her story is one of resilience, reinvention and living boldly at every stage of life. Following this conversation, Lunden will sign her book, which is included in the $25 in-person admission.

Our <a href="https://phillypigeontours.com/#nyc" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">pigeon tours</a>&nbsp;are 90-minute walking tours, and are great for all ages. On the tour, you'll join the guides on an adventure to understand the behaviors, biology, ecology, and history of our closest bird neighbors. 
You'll learn all about the dramatic relationship between pigeons and humans, including how pigeons have been maligned and redeemed throughout history. You'll also learn about the roles that leaders in NYC - and especially Bryant Park - played in this history.
We’ll visit an established pigeon flock in and around Bryant Park. You’ll leave with an understanding of pigeon behavior and a greater appreciation for these misunderstood birds.
