Wang's World Comedy is a weekly stand-up showcase every Monday at The Grisly Pear Midtown, co-produced by Taiwanese comedian Vickie Wang and veteran talent manager Jason Steinberg. Vickie performed at the 2025 New York Comedy Festival, has opened for Atsuko Okatsuka and Jenny Yang, and is a two-time New York Times op-ed contributor. Jason managed the Boston Comedy Club from 1989 to 1996, gave Dave Chappelle his first New York stage, and helped shape the careers of Patrice O'Neal, Bill Burr, and Nate Bargatze. Each Monday brings a new lineup of stand-ups from across the NYC club scene.
