Martinis, Myth & David Wondrich: The Knickerbocker’s Stirring Up Traditions Dinner

On October 6 from 7:00–9:00 PM, The Knickerbocker presents Stirring Up Tradition, a storytelling-driven dinner hosted by renowned author and drinks historian David Wondrich. Exploring the hotel’s long-rumored connection to the birthplace of the dry martini, the evening at Charlie Palmer Steak IV will feature mini martinis, a multi-course dinner with pairings, and a cocktail hour, with Roku Gin as a confirmed sponsor.

Wondrich will guide guests through the evolution of the martini, sharing stories from his latest book and The Knickerbocker’s place in cocktail history. Following an intimate, invite-only dinner last October, this installment opens the experience to the public. A second dinner is planned for early February.
