MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Late-night subway riders turned the Times Square station into a full-blown dance party Sunday. The impromptu festivities went down when an unknown hero started to blare Bronx-born rapper Cardi B's mega hit "Bodak Yellow" in a large open space within the station.
"Play 'Bodak Yellow' anywhere and a party will start, guaranteed. @iamcardib brings the people together. #nycsubway," one witness of the celebration of the human spirit said on Twitter.
A video capturing scenes the subway shindig has been retweeted more than 31,000 times and favorited more than 81,000 times as of this writing.

Highlights from the video include an elderly man in black and grey breaking it down in the center of the dance formation, a woman in a national guard jacket absolutely slaying the dance floor and brief glimpses of what appears to be a guy doing some form of dancing pilates on the ground.
