Dying Man Walks Into Midtown NYPD Precinct: Police
The man had been stabbed in the chest and back following a confrontation on Ninth Avenue and West 36th Street.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Police are looking for the killer of a man who stumbled into the Midtown South Precinct suffering from what would turn out to be fatal stab wounds Monday night.
The 66-year-old victim walked into the West 35th Street station house around 11:30 p.m. suffering from stab wounds to his back and chest, police told Patch. EMS responders transported the man from the precinct to Bellevue hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.
An NYPD investigation revealed that the man had been stabbed on the corner of Ninth Avenue and West 36th Street after a confrontation with an unknown man, police told Patch. Police are still investigating the stabbing and have not yet identified or apprehended a suspect, police said.
