Madison Ave Fire Sends Smoke Billowing Near Grand Central: FDNY

MIDTOWN, NY — A blaze broke out at a Madison Avenue building near Grand Central, sending thick smoke billowing into Midtown Friday morning, FDNY said.

More than 60 firefighters rushed to 330 Madison Avenue at about 10:25 a.m. where flames spurted from the exterior of the second floor of the building a mere block from Grand Central Terminal, a FDNY spokeswoman said.

No injuries have been reported. The cause of the blaze was not immediately clear, FDNY said.
