Fordham University’s Student Veteran Association has partnered with Veselka, a Ukrainian restaurant in New York City, and Razom, a nonprofit in New York City, to provide support to Ukraine. Fordham set up stations on its campus in West Harrison (Westchester), Rose Hill (the Bronx) and Lincoln Center (NYC) to collect items including first-aid supplies, packaged foods, baby supplies and clothing items. Student veterans packaged the supplies for shipping and delivered them to Veselka, which is working with Razom to handle the logistics of getting the supplies to the people who need them in Ukraine.

“We’re proud to collaborate with Veselka and Razom and to help the people of Ukraine,” said Matt Butler, MSgt. USMC (Ret.), Director of Military and Veterans’ Services at Fordham University. “Here at Fordham, we’re fortunate to have such a caring and dedicated community. Our student veterans are always on the lookout for ways to help those in need and our community is always quick to respond to the call for action. We thank everyone who has helped in this important effort.”
