Knicks Mob Attack Spurs Fan In Manhattan, Police Say
The group of men kicked and punched the Spurs fan and then ripped the Tim Duncan jersey off his body, police said.

HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — Police are searching Wednesday for a mob of Knicks fans who are accused of beating up a man wearing a Spurs jersey and ripping off the victim's jersey in Hell's Kitchen, New York City Police Department officials said.
According to the NYPD, the 39-year-old man was walking to his hotel in Hell's Kitchen on Tuesday at 12:17 a.m. when a group of men surrounded him in front of 306 West 47th St. near Eighth Avenue.
The mob kicked and punched the Spurs fan and then ripped the jersey off his body, police said. The Spurs jersey had a 21 on the back, for Hall of Fame Spurs player Tim Duncan.

The attack came just hours after the Knicks lost the third game to the Spurs in the NBA finals, putting the New York team at a tight 2-1 lead.
The mob ran off, and medics took the 39-year-old to Mount Sinai West with bloody face wounds and bruising in stable condition, police said.

Police are investigating the incident and have not made any arrests yet. Police have released surveillance photos of the suspects and are asking for the public's help in identifying them.
