Man Dies After Getting Pushed Down Penn Station Staircase: Police

MIDTOWN-HELL'S KITCHEN, NY — An unidentified man was discovered dead on Tuesday at the bottom of a Penn Station stairway, according to police.

Police investigation revealed the man was involved in a fight with a different unknown male and was "forced down the stairway," where he suffered an injury to the head.

Responding emergency service members transported the man to NYU Langone Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, police said Wednesday.

There are no arrests at this time, and the Medical Examiner is yet to determine the cause of death.

The investigation remains ongoing.
