Man Fondles Himself While Sitting Next To Woman On Midtown Train, Police Say

The woman was able to move away from the man, snap his picture and alert the police.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD is trying to identify a subway creeper who allegedly sat down next to a woman and began touching himself.

The victim, a 30-year-old woman, was aboard a northbound E train when the suspect entered the train at West 42nd Street and Eight Avenue, police told Patch. The man sat down next to the 30-year-old woman and started to "manipulate his penis," police said.

The woman was able to move away from the man, snap his picture and alert the police. The man has not been identified or caught yet, and is wanted on charges of public lewdness.

Police said the man is likely in his 30s or 40s, stands 5-foot-8 and weighs around 170 pounds. The man was last seen wearing a white shirt and black shorts.
