Man Sought After Fatal Times Square Shooting, Police Say
The NYPD has named a man wanted for questioning in connection with a deadly shooting outside a bar near Times Square.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — The NYPD has identified a person wanted for questioning for deadly shooting outside a Times Square bar.
Christopher Rivas, 30, is being sought by the NYPD in connection with the killing of 33-year-old Perseus Salichs, police said. The NYPD did not say whether Rivas is considered a suspect in the shooting at this time.
Salichs was shot and killed on Dec. 19 outside the popular bar Tonic, police said. NYPD officers arrived at the bar — located on Seventh Avenue between West 48th and 49th streets — shortly before 4 a.m. and found Salichs suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was rushed to Bellevue Hospital where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Rivas (pictured above) is described as standing about 5-foot-9 and weighing about 190 pounds, police said. He was last seen wearing a black baseball hat, red jacket, blue jeans and white sneakers.
Family members held a vigil outside Tonic on Sunday night for Salichs, ABC7 reported.

"There's a man out there loose, and we're waiting," aunt Marisol Salichs said during the vigil. "Who is he to take someone's life? Anyone's life?"
