MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Police on Wednesday said the death of a man who was pushed down a stairway in Penn Station earlier this month has been deemed a homicide.
The unidentified man was found around 11 p.m. Aug. 4 at the bottom of a staircase inside the station, unconscious and suffering from head trauma. Paramedics brought him to NYU Langone Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
No arrests have been made, but police have circulated a surveillance photo of a man who had gotten into an argument with the victim in the same place where he was "forced down the stairway," according to the NYPD.
