Military Planes To Fly Over Hudson River Monday
Three Navy jets will fly over the Hudson River and New York Harbor at low altitude Monday afternoon.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Three military jets will fly along the Hudson River at low altitudes Monday afternoon, police told Patch.
Three Navy McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet aircraft — twin-engine fighter jets nicknamed the "superhornet" — will begin to fly over the river around 12 p.m., police told Patch. The jets will fly up to the Tappan Zee Bridge and then back down to the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge. For the duration of the flyover the jets will fly at at altitudes between 2,500 and 3,000 feet, police told Patch.
It is unknown how long the flyover will last.
