MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — If you're looking for a nice steakhouse in New York City there are plenty of great choices, but one stands above the rest according to a new report from Business Insider and Foursquare.

Midtown's Keens Steakhouse was named the top chophouse in the entire state base on ratings, popularity rankings and tips left by users of the Foursquare City Guide mobile app, Business Insider reported.
Keens — located on West 36th Street near Sixth Avenue — has been serving up steaks and its signature mutton chops since it opened in 1885. The New York City institution draws in carnivores from the entire globe and is often frequented by high-society clientele.

"Call ahead to make reservations at Keens Steakhouse in New York City. This legendary spot has fed some of the most famous people in history since 1885, and it's been popular ever since," Business Insider said about Keens. "If you don't fancy a steak, Foursquare users recommend the mutton chops — and don't forget the New York cheesecake for dessert."
