Person Killed By 6 Train At 28th Street Station: Cops
A person was hit and killed by a 6 train at 28th Street station in Manhattan on Wednesday afternoon, police said.

NOMAD, MANHATTAN — A person was hit and killed by a 6 train at 28th Street station on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
The person was hit by a northbound train at the 28th Street and Park Avenue station just after 1 p.m., according to the MTA. Police said the person was pronounced deceased at the scene by emergency responders.
The incident caused both 5 and 6 trains to be rerouted.

5 trains ran on the 2 line from Nevins Street to 149th Street and 6 trains ran on the express track from Union Square to Grand Central, the MTA said.
