Person Struck, Killed By Train At 42nd Street
A person was struck and killed by a train Friday morning at the 42nd Street–Port Authority Bus Terminal subway station, authorities said.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A person was struck and killed by a train Friday morning at the 42nd Street–Port Authority Bus Terminal subway station, authorities said.
The accident happened around 9:19 a.m. The person, who has not been identified, was pronounced dead at the scene, an FDNY spokesperson said.
The accident forced C and E trains to be rerouted away from the station, which also caused delays along the A, B, D, F and M lines, the MTA said.

Northbound C/E service is disrupted and delayed while emergency crews respond to a person who was struck by a train at 42 St-Port Authority Bus Terminal.
There is no northbound local service at 23 St or 50 St.
