Playboy Club To Open In New Midtown Manhattan Hotel
To the joy of New York City's creepy old men, the Playboy Club will return to the city after a 30 year hiatus.
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Rejoice old creepers of Manhattan and anyone else who thinks a good dinner should be judged on the amount — or lack thereof — of clothes the staff is wearing. After a 30 year hiatus the Playboy bunnies will be returning to New York City when a new location of the Playboy Club opens in Cachet Boutique New York, one of Midtown Manhattan's newest hotels.
Playboy Club New York and Cachet Boutique will both open later this year in the new hotel's space on 510 W. 42nd St., between 10th and 11th avenues, according to a press release. The club will feature the scantily-clad, bunny-ear wearing hostesses and waitresses the Playboy brand is know for, according to the release.
"We are thrilled to be able to bring the Playboy Club back to New York City for the first time in more than 30 years," David Laris, an executive at F&B and Nightlife, said in a statement. "The Playboy Club is the perfect addition to the distinctive features we are creating for our guests as part of the Cachet Boutique New York experience."

The new club will "feature elements from the sexy and sophisticated aesthetic of Playboy’s rich history integrated with the energy of New York," according to a press release. Ah yes, the rich history of a porno mag, that's what Midtown's newest hotels need.
The Playboy Club was first established in New York City in 1962 on East 59th Street between Fifth and Madison avenues, but later closed in 1986, according to Playboy. In recent years Playboy has launched a rebranding effort, even removing fully nude images from its magazine. In addition to opening the New York City Playboy Club the company announced that it would partner with Cachet Hotels to open locations in China.

“The reintroduction of the Playboy Club to New York City is a huge milestone for us as we continue to reinvent our brand for new audiences all around the world,” Valerie Golson, Playboy’s cice president of gaming and location based entertainment, said in a statement.
