NYPD Seeks Alleged Midtown Subway Station Masturbator

MIDTOWN, NY — Police are looking for a man who they say started masturbating next to a woman inside a subway station in Midtown. Around 4 a.m. Saturday, a 20-year-old woman sat down on a bench on the southbound side of the station located at 7th Avenue and 53rd street.

A man next to her then began masturbating, police said. The woman took his picture and then fled the scene, police said. She was not hurt.

Police are asking the public for help in identifying the man, described as Hispanic and who stands about 5-feet-1-inch tall. He also weighs about 200 pounds.

Police say the man has a "heavy build," goatee, brown eyes and short brown hair. He was wearing a blue shirt, tan slacks and black sneakers at the time.
