MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Target has officially opened its new 43,000-square foot store in Herald Square. The store boasts a selection of items curated to the tastes of New York City residents, commuters and tourists.
Target's first Midtown Manhattan store spans two-stories and has entrances on both West 33rd and 34th Street between Seventh and Eighth avenues. The ground floor of the store is configured for grab-and-go purchases and customer checkout and the basement floor resembles the more traditional Target shopping experience. The store is also home to a CVS Pharmacy.
The Herald Square store is Target's second location in Manhattan and its eighth store in New York City. The store is a model for Target's planned expansion in Manhattan, with small-format stores planned for neighborhoods such as the East Village and Hell's Kitchen, according to a press release.
