Three Pedestrians Injured After Being Hit By Vehicle
3 pedestrians were hit by a vehicle while standing on the sidewalk at East 31st Street & 3rd Avenue Wednesday Evening.
MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY-- FDNY & NYPD responded to a pedestrian accident this evening around 5:45pm. The accident happened at East 31st Street & 3rd Avenue in the Kips Bay section of Manhattan. The FDNY confirms that 3 people were transported to Bellevue Hospital after a car struck them at the intersection of East 31st Street & 3rd Avenue. Sources say the pedestrians were standing on the sidewalk at the time of the crash.
Video from the scene shows a navy blue Ford Explorer with severe front end damage. It appears the Ford Explorer also hit a light pole during the crash.
