The Ultimate Social Media Image Size Cheat Sheet

In addition to calling New York your home, you likely have multiple homes in the world of social media. Some people prefer Twitter, while others like Facebook or Pinterest. No matter where you call your social media home, we have the details you need to make sure it looks great at all times.
Twitter
Profile photos on Twitter must be 400x400 pixels. Twitter profile picture serves as your main picture and is visible to everyone. For businesses, it is suggested to make it as their logo. It must be of the highest quality while following the Twitter’s specifications.
Facebook’s cover photo must be 828x315 pixels with a maximum file size of only 1000kb. The Facebook cover photo’s minimum size should be 399x150 pixels. Of all the social background and network images options, Facebook mainly offers the best branding platform.
The profile picture’s specs on Instagram should be 110x110 pixels. The size of the standard photo is 640x640. The thumbnails must be 161x161. It is advisable to maintain an aspect ratio of 1:1 on Instagram so that you think of perfect square when posting in this type of medium.
Google Plus
This format mainly requires a profile image of 250x250 pixels. If you are into a certain business, it is advisable on your part to utilize your branding image of trademarked logo so that people can easily associate your posts on Google network with your own brand.
