VIDEO: Raging Car Fire Lights Up Lincoln Tunnel
Nobody was injured during the fire, which shut the Lincoln Tunnel down for about an hour.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A car burst info flames Monday morning inside the Lincoln Tunnel, shutting down the Hudson River span for about an hour, a spokeswoman for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey said.
The fire broke out about 12:30 p.m. in the New Jersey-bound north tube of the Lincoln Tunnel, a Port Authority spokeswoman said. Firefighters responded to the scene, extinguish the fire and removed the wreck, the spokeswoman said.
After an inspection, the north tube was reopened at 1:38 p.m., a Port Authority spokeswoman said. The cause of the car fire is under investigation, the spokeswoman said.
