Whole Foods Market to Open in Midtown Near Bryant Park

The popular grocery store chain will open its newest Manhattan location on Jan. 28.

MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — Midtown residents will get another grocery store option when Whole Foods Market opens its newest Manhattan location across the street from Bryant Park. The new Whole Foods is set to open Saturday, Jan. 28 and will be located inside 1095 Avenue of the Americas between West 41st and 42nd streets, according to a company press release.

The newest location of the pricy, health-conscious, yet occasionally tone-deaf, grocery store will open at 9 a.m. after a celebratory bread breaking to be held at 8:45 a.m., according to a press release. The new 36,000-square-foot store will serve up the quick-serve prepared foods that Whole Foods has become known for as well as standard grocery staples such as fresh produce.

"Bryant Park is known as one of the highest pedestrian traffic areas in the U.S., and Whole Foods Market will add an exciting breakfast, lunch, dinner and shopping option for the area’s residents, commuters, office workers and tourists," said a Whole Foods press release.
