MIDTOWN MANHATTAN, NY — A woman died Tuesday morning after jumping from the Vessel structure at Hudson Yards, police said.

Police responded around 11:40 a.m. Tuesday and found the victim, a 24-year-old woman, lying face-down on the ground, a police spokesperson said. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The woman had leapt minutes earlier from the Vessel, a 150-foot, honeycomb-like attraction that allows visitors to climb stairs up to the top.
