Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School first graders in Elizabeth Filippi’s class engaged in multiple activities – they used 100 Legos to build, 100 pattern blocks to create designs, 100 cups to construct towers and even designed a gumball machine with 100 dots. The students also dressed as centenarians to share in the festivities.

Fourth graders in Debbie Vieira and Lisa Celentano’s class at Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School interacted with many materials in their STEM challenge stations. The goal was to build the largest tower at each station.
