MOUNT SINAI, NY — A man was charged with driving while intoxicated after his pickup truck struck a pole outside of Bolla Market in Mount Sinai on Monday afternoon, Suffolk police said.
The 66-year-old from St. James was driving a 2017 Dodge pickup truck and hit the fixed signpost, according to police.
It happened at around 1 p.m., police said.
No one was injured.
