1. A Calverton man was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Sunday. Jordy Ichajbuc, 23, crashed his car into a utility pole in Flanders. He was arrested by Southampton Police. (Riverhead News Review)
2. A Jamesport man biked from California to Long Island. Chris Schwenker, 50, covered 3,873 miles over 59 days, ending at his Jamesport home. He raised money for a nonprofit assisting those with financial hardships. (Suffolk Times)
3. Representative Lee Zeldin is calling for a nationwide expansion of a program to help veterans battling with post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injuries. (Patch)
