Thursday Morning Bank Robbery Is 3rd In 3 Days In Suffolk

Suffolk banks have been robbed on three consecutive days.

UPDATE 9:15 a.m.: A Chase bank located at 2210 Nesconset Highway in Stony Brook was robbed around 8:45 a.m. Thursday. Police have not yet released any other information on that robbery.

MILLER PLACE, NY – A man robbed a Miller Place bank Wednesday evening and his description is quite similar to that of a man who robbed another bank in Suffolk County a day earlier.

According to police, a man entered the Chase bank located at 385 Route 25A in Miller Place around 5:25 p.m. Wednesday and passed a note demanding cash to an employee. The teller complied with the man’s demands and gave him cash from the drawer. The man then fled the bank on foot.

The robber was described as white, in his 30s, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9, with a shaved head, full beard and a medium build. A man with a similar description robbed a bank in Medford Tuesday, but police have not yet said if they believe the robberies are connected.
