Harvest Fest

Join in on an afternoon of festivities for all ages at the Hallock Homestead Museum!

10am – 4pm

There will be something for everyone to enjoy! Craft-making all day, Gourd & Pumpkin Painting, Ornament Making, Weaving & Spinning, as well as Live Music. Pick flower seeds from the Pollinator, Rain & Colonial Gardens.

Schedule of events:

10 AM — Helen Sells, Chairwoman of the Setalcott Nation, "Heart of the Morning Star," will be leading the presentation of the Land Acknowledgement

10 to 11 AM — Horseradish Harvest Demonstration (Bring a jar, take some home!)

11 to 12 PM — Garlic Planting

11 AM — Hallock Burying Ground Tour

12:30 to 3 PM — Music by Homegrown String Band

1:30 PM — International Peace Pole Days Commemoration

3 PM — Hallock Burying Ground Tour

Available throughout the day from 11 AM to 4 PM — Weavers' & spinners' demonstrations, pollinator garden seed giveaway, garden tours, Betsey Prince Exhibit, Local Free Black Farmer, vintage yard sale, kids nature scavenger hunt & tours of the 1721 Noah Hallock Homestead by volunteer docents.
