Hallockville Museum Farm

Hallockville Museum Farm, the 28-acre preserved farm homestead on Long Island’s North Fork invites the public to celebrate farm life, local history and culture, and community spirit at its 45th Annual Hallockville Country Fair, on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Hallockville Country Fair offers visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in Long Island’s family farm heritage, from livestock and tractors to handicrafts and historic home tours. Family-friendly activities will take place throughout the Hallockville Museum Farm property and the adjacent Long Island Antique Power Association grounds. In appreciation to the community, Hallockville will offer half-price admission to the fair on Sunday morning between 10 a.m. and noon. Hallockville Museum Farm is located at 6038 Sound Avenue in Riverhead.
Sample Country Fair attractions include colonial cooking demonstrations; traditional craft and skills demonstrations and craft vendors; farm animals; children’s games and crafts; Indigenous People presentations; a produce, honey and jam competition; wagon and kiddie train rides; tractor pulls, live music; food vendors and more.Ages 13 &amp; up - $12; Ages 5-12 - $8; Children 4 &amp; under - FREE; Sunday 10am-12pm - Tickets 50% off

Step into the mysterious world of Nikola Tesla this Halloween season. Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe (TSCW) and Long Island Paranormal Investigators (LIPI) present Investigate Wardenclyffe: 2026 Ghost Hunting Tour, a hands-on paranormal investigation on the historic grounds where Nikola Tesla once pushed the limits of science.
Designed for skeptics and true believers alike, the tour gives guests professional electronic equipment, audio recorders, cameras, and other paranormal gadgetry to search for unexplained activity around Nikola's historic laboratory, the remains of his transmitting tower, and other mysterious corners of Wardenclyffe after dark.
When: Friday, October 16 and Friday, October 30, 2026.Two sessions each night: 7:30-8:30 PM and 9:00-10:00 PM.
Where: Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe, 5 Randall Road, Shoreham, NY 
Who: Recommended for adults and children 15 and up. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe, a nonprofit preserving Nikola Tesla's last remaining laboratory in Shoreham, NY, hosts its first-ever Spooky Science, a family-friendly Halloween event on Long Island where hands-on science meets holiday fun.
Saturday, October 24, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM 
(Rain Date: Sunday, October 25)

Explore Nikola Tesla-inspired experiments and electrifying demonstrations, meet live "spooky" animals with Sweetbriar Nature Center (1:00–2:00 PM), and enjoy a full lineup of family-friendly Halloween activities including face painting, crafts, and a costume dance party. Don't miss the Tesla look-alike contest, and grab a bite from on-site food trucks throughout the day.
Tickets: $10 per person, $20 per family (up to 4 individuals), free for children under 3. TSCW members save 15% on tickets.
