Press release from Rocky Point High School:
December 17 2021

Challenging high school students to think beyond the scope of the classroom gives them the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and capabilities in a business environment. This is the mission behind the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce’s 18th annual Emerging Leaders Competition, a challenge accepted by Rocky Point High School student Natalie Armioia.

A student at Eastern Suffolk BOCES Gary D. Bixhorn Technical Center, Natalie won third place in the Sports Marketing Competition. Her task was to create a presentation for The New York Islanders to increase attendance at their games, both in person and virtually, as well as increase interest in the team’s overall brand.
