Councilwoman Bonner Participates in Community Forum
on Substance Abuse and Mental Health at Rocky Point HS

Farmingville, NY – On April 10, Councilwoman Jane Bonner joined with staff from the Town’s Youth Bureau at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Community Forum held at Rocky Point High School. The event was designed for students from grades 6 to 12 and parents to learn more about the topic and gather valuable information and material for them to take home. Councilwoman Bonner said, “Substance abuse and mental health go hand-in-hand, so this event was very helpful to those who took part. The Town’s Youth Bureau is dedicated to helping youngsters navigate through life and make the right choices that will lead them into adulthood. I commend their work to help educate the community and wholeheartedly support their efforts.”
