Farmingville, NY - On June 9, Councilwoman Jane Bonner attended the Blessing of the Fleet at the Mount Sinai Yacht Club (MSYC). This annual event in Mount Sinai Harbor began with a continental breakfast followed by a boat parade and the blessing. Members of the Coast Guard Auxiliary were also on hand to conduct courtesy boat inspections. Councilwoman Bonner said, “It was a real pleasure to be at the Mount Sinai Yacht Club on such a beautiful day. The Blessing of the Fleet is a great tradition and I wish all the members of the Mount Sinai Yacht Club a happy and safe boating season.”
