Councilwoman Bonner Honors New Eagle Scouts

from Troop 1776 of Mount Sinai

Farmingville, NY- On April 14, Councilwoman Jane Bonner (right) honored Boy Scouts from
Troop 1776 during the Eagle Scout Court of Honor ceremony held at Mount Sinai
High School. Pictured left to right with Councilwoman Bonner are Joshua
Louser; Michael Muroff; Joseph Snider; Joseph DiBiasi; Shane Bombace and Gavin
Code.

"I commend all of these young men for their
accomplishments,” said Councilwoman Bonner. "Boy Scouts like these young
men are the leaders of tomorrow, and from what I can see of this outstanding
group, I say that we’ll be in good hands.”

Since the award was presented in 1912, no more than four
percent of all Scouts have attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank
attainable in the Boy Scouts of America (BSA). Since its introduction in 1911,
the Eagle Scout rank has been earned by more than two million young men.
