Driver Splits After Crashing Pickup Into 2 Parked Cars In Suffolk: Cops
The driver ran away before officers from the 6th Precinct arrived, Suffolk police said.
MILLER PLACE, NY — The driver of a white pickup truck ran away after crashing the vehicle into two parked cars in Miller Place on Sunday night, Suffolk police said.
The truck struck the two unoccupied cars outside of a home on Parkside Drive around 10 p.m., causing damage to a retaining wall and a basketball hoop on the property, according to police.
The driver left before officers from the 6th Precinct arrived and the pickup was impounded, police said.

The investigation is continuing, according to police.
Leaving the scene of a crash with property damage is a misdemeanor.
