Activities include pool, video games, Wii, TV., board games, outdoor activities, movies, arts and crafts, etc.. Homework helpers are available if needed.
The program participants receive mentoring training and they may be incorporated into our child care program as “big buddies”. Other volunteer activities may include community service projects. These volunteer projects enable the kids to grow and learn social developmental skills as they move into their teen years and young adulthood. Community service is awarded to those teens who give of their time.
Adult supervision along with a team of community-based counselors to gently structure and guide the program participants is provided.
